Hey,
As I promised here is the first of my Sabbath covers using my new Ceramic magnet bridge 'Pig. Ive got the pig running full blast into a DHA Effects VT2 Fatguts-Custom loaded with two authentic Mullard 12AX7's from 1967 into an Marshall MG100 on the clean channel into a matching marshall 412 cabinet. The puppy is loud as mess and shakes walls even without distortion. Anyways though; I was unable to get my 'friend' down the street who has over $10,000 worth of recording equip in his living room to help me out and get a good sounding recording so I did my best with a cr@ppy Dell computer mic into Audacity. BTW, this is "Cornucopia" off of Black Sabbath's Vol.4 album and it has one of the heaviest opening riffs ever pummeled into stone (or metal I suppose). Theres a good deal of clippage due to the cr@ppiness of the mic but overall its pretty good for a computer mic that came free w/ my PC. I also did the first two verse lyrics over it all just cause I felt like it kind of 'compensated' for the cr@ppy recording quality.... which it doesnt... but it helps my ego :D . I will also be doing Children Of The Grave, Spiral Architect (Looking forward to that one :D ) and Supernaut once my friend gets off his ass and starts actualy making a contious effort to create music with his thousands of dollars of recording equipment (rolls eyes). Anyways, I hope you enjoy! Comments appreciated!
EDIT; Oh yeh, I almost forgot. I also am uploading a clip I did last night that seemed to come out a little better quality wise. No name, its just a riff but it realy displays the Warpigs sheer aggreson and might when cranked. And they are both extremely short so as to spare you your hearing for another couple of nights :D
