Bought a gordon smith graduate slimline in black similar to this http://www.micromusic.co.uk/content/images/Gordgypsyblack2.jpg
tis sweat....any other gordon smith players and if so did you keep original pickups....or did you change them, if so to what BKP etc

my friend bought a Gordon Smith SG about 3 or 4 years ago and he's still got it.. lovely guitar!

I've got two Gordon Smiths:

1) Gloss Cherry Red SG-1 with '61 SG style pickguard and Tune-O-Matic bridge. Fitted with a Mississippi Queen. Does a great "Iron Man" through my 100w Laney Klipp :twisted:

2) Natural finish GS-1 fitted with a zebra Mule and wrapover bridge. My backup guitar for gigging. Sings as sweet as sugar right up to the 22nd fret, really low action and a great resonance. Deserves to be more than a backup.

The neck profile on Gordon Smiths is perfect for me, the one on the GS-1 with a matt finish is my perfect neck.

The Mule is sweeter, fuller and clearer. As you might expect from a BKP really!

It's perfect in my GS - absolutely perfect.

I'm a Gordon Smith fan myself.

Here's my custom ordered Graduate 60:

When I had it built (had it built with money I was left when my Grandad died) I had a Seymour Duncan Screamin' Demon in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates in the neck (I had the same combo in my Epi LP at the time and liked it).

I realised that I didnt like the pickups I had in it and bought a set of Bareknuckles off Ebay (Black Dog bridge and Riff Raff neck). It's these pickups that I currently have in the guitar :)

Gordon Smiths are very, very nice, and great value, IMO. Though the price does go up for any extras you want.
