pup suggestions for Jackson PC-1 pluuueeeassse!
« on: January 19, 2007, 01:12:12 AM »
just got my hands on a PC-1 JAckson-a lovely rootBEER...has a ceramic Dimarzio Super 3 in bridge-not so super to me...mahog body/maple top/floyd rose-I am wanting this axe to have MAXIMUM FIREPOWER-carpet bombing capabilities-emphasis on pinch harmonics ANYWHERE-I want the low E to scaaareeeem without having to dig in too much-will be playing it too fast to hit/miss!!(well, a man can dream..will actually be too buzzed -need all the help I can get)-it has a stacked single coil in mid position, so I will take sugeestions on a bridge/mid combo...but I will not really play it that much at all-will be sizzlin' on the bridge and sustaining on the neck(has a sustainer-2 cool)
I am  a lefty and I have never owned such an animal before(all pauls and strats)-I NEEDS HELP OH BK NATION!

I reckon there may be more opinions if you allow for the time difference-I can't help with teh h/b, haven't tried any other singles other than Apache and Slowhands(both of which I love) that would not suit you however.
Send three and fourpence we're going to a dance
BKP's: Apache, Country Boy, Slowhands.
