Another Interesting EBay auction
« on: January 20, 2007, 12:31:25 AM »
Actually I quite want one of these http://cgi.ebay.in/SOMALIA-GIBSON-X-PLORER-LEGAL-TENDER-GUITAR-COIN-2004_W0QQitemZ250074724782QQihZ015QQcategoryZ257QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Also go to musical instruments and search for Gibson and see what returns :)

Apparently Billy Gibbons has one and thinks it's one of his cooler guitars (possibly for the sheer balls of the brand name), though a friend had one of their acoustics and it was better sounding than his 400 quid yamaha (it played better too)

A workmate is in India visiting family and he is heading to the factory where apparently the fingerboard blanks are produced for some western mfgrs. Apparenty you can also buy body blanks there and somewhere on ebay.in there is a link to the factory.

I did a search for gibson and found those cheeky chappies

The explorer coin also grabbed my attention (on a different gibson search)
