Warm up music?
« on: January 20, 2007, 03:07:41 PM »
I am in need of some warm up music for gym.

And i can't think of something.

It has to have a BPM around 120 and an easy to hear beat.

So it's pretty open, i could just use a metronome but i don't think my group will accept that :D

I don't know about the BPM, but in the far-off days when I used to go to the gym (5 years and 3 stone ago...   ) I found that Anthrax's Stomp 442 was perfect workout music.

What are your group's musical tastes?
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

your best bet for rythmic stuff would be some industrial stuff, preferably with some weird twist
I suggest the song Bloostar by Shade Empire :P
some absurd Industrial Symphonic Black Metal whatever

Never heard of any of those songs :P

But will give it a try.

Preferably (sp?) not so heavy.

Fear factorys Demanufacture would be ideal. Its quite heavy (ish) though. Just seems to have that driving beat to help at the gym?

Edit:
Or if you want something with more of a beat how about some Orbital or Red Snapper?
MM set, warpig set, about to be fitted - custom 7 bridge 'pig, CS7 neck.

I found a site with recommendations, I think I will find some music there.

The music you recommended will just scare my fellow students, lol.

But thanks anyway :D

It's not guitar based but theres some Future Sound of London (known as FSOL) tracks which would be very suitable

Rob...
Goodbye London !
