..OK, just a quick bit about the second gig. The energy was amazing, the crowd were really up for it and I think this really pushed the band who were feeling more relaxed. Bruce pulled off an amazing solo in the 2nd (or 3rd?) song and the place nearly exploded! Paul was so happy at the audience reaction to the gig I swear he was almost in tears at one point, and in between songs he was quite chatty, talking about his guitar and playing riffs and licks and jamming by himself. Bruce's slide solo in Addicted to that rush turned into a tradeoff between him and Paul, at first Bruce on slide and then Mike the bassist gave Paul a plastic disposable lighter to play slide with, it sounded amazing! Then both guitarists put the slides down and did a more conventional trade off... that solo section alone must have been a good 5 or 6 minutes...
There were a few changes to the set list, out went SVT, the Beatles, Rundgren and Jimmy Kidd songs, and in their place we had lots of extended jams and solos and Paul whipped out his doubleneck for the second time of the evening to play Three E's For Edward.
A real killer show. The guy next to me who before the gig told me he much preferred Nuno to Gilbert was staring with his mouth wide open all night!

Sorry for the poor quality of my cameraphone.
