Cabinate alterations. & Beam Blockers..
« on: January 26, 2007, 10:50:24 AM »
Well i found my new amp way too bright..

so i've rewired the inside of the cab using the inside of a mains cable instead of the high quality speaker lead i've used.. and put a pair of beam blockers onto the front of each speaker..

and now it's tonal bliss i get that lovely vintage sounding crunchy bottom end from the private jacks without the ear piercing treble and high end.

took me about 3 hrs of experiementation this morning but it's rather good!

So, it's not the amp that was too bright, technically speaking ...
