Clip showing Mules versatility

Just recorded this as I had nothing better to do :) Playing is a bit sloppy but the tone isnt bad.

Settings on the amp:

For the lower gain bits I just disengaged the gain boost and for cleans rolled down the guitar volume. Guess this is also showing how versatile this amp is for essentially a single channel :)

There's a reason for this laney obsession... That's what you call face melting metal tone. The cleans are a bit wussy for my liking, but each to their own I suppose.

I'm going to break the mould here and say I thought the tone is a bit "average"    Sorry Tom, doesn't do anything for me at all.  I know you can get great tones out of your gear and for me this one's too bland.  I'm guessing the master volume is down low?  There's just no balls to it and it sounds a bit mushy.

Sorry again mate - you can do soooo much better

I'd like to try a Nailbomb through this amp with these settings, I bet it'd sound evil

You know, the Mules actually sound better for metal than the J90C in my charvel through this amp, they are brighter, more punchy and more mids - I was expecting the J90C to be a total beast as its dc res. is twice that of the Mules and the HC reviews say its really good.. meh.

And yeah twinfan the master was only just on 1.. mum was home so I couldnt have it above that :( I think I need a new hotplate.
