Interesting article about independent record stores closing

i only skimmed that as I'm feeling a little under the weather but that sucks. I have no love for the big stores (in any business), they tend to use low prices to then get rid of the competition, so they can charge what they like.

Plus, I've seen Bowling for Soup in the metal section of HMV. I mean, seriously,

EDIT: heh, I've had a cd burner for about 3 years, I don't think I've ever burned a CD.

They don't have a "shite" section, so metal it is!

Bowling for Soup majorly suck balls.

Sorry, you can't deny it!

Big chain music stores never have anything I like. There are no indie music stores around either. So I get my CD's from internet stores.

heh, HMV/Virgin sometimes have stuff I want, 95% of the time it's about £18 though. The odd time they have a sale they're ok, but you still feel like you're buying stuff you half want because it's cheap, not stuff you really want.
