Hopefully by 16:00 hrs the snow will fall here. I don't know if it'll be enough to make a snowman. Maybe one of three apples tall.

my wee sister, nine years old, threw a snowball at school today and got two pages of lines for it.

this modern world of political correctness and health and safety gone mad won't even let little kids throw snowballs!  a snowman would probably be classed as a dangerous structure and require scaffolding and properly trained demolition teams!

hahaha blue, thats just bloody stupid. I remember in year 8 or something, someone threw a snowball at the headteacher and knocked off her wig  :D

I'm kinda scared this snowman's gonna collapse and crush my dog if he decides to piss up it  Its massive, doesnt look as big in the pic. Had to use a piece of wood as a ramp to get the middle ball up because it was so heavy  :P

Grrrrr I'm in work and can't get building a snowman :(

Though it was funny watching the staff at the ice rink down below totally fail to sweep away the 1.5 cm of snow (fecking weaklings)

Less funny was the cancelled trains because 1cm of snow made it very dangerous (according to the DLR staff mamber) (shite country)
Goodbye London !

I had to park my motor about a mile or so from work (it's a 17 year old, automatic, rear wheel drive beemer, so it's fairly lethal in the snow) and walk the rest of the way (past the cars in the ditches as I work in the deepest darkest countryside).  Still got a rollocking for being late though .
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

haha my dad didnt even make it to work, got half way and  the road was blocked by a car which managed to slide right into the middle blocking access both ways. Decided he might as well work at home. He's got a RWD auto car as well which doesnt seem to be good for snow-driving

PFEH!

i laugh at the English! freaking out coz they get an inch and a half of snow!

if we get anything less than four inches here we're disappointed, meanwhile the south of England grinds to a halt?

incidentally, no snow here. dry and sunny, so i went out and washed the motor.

The snow here in Nottingham is pathetic - it's snowed all day and it hasn't really settled at all

Mostly all gone here; shame, as I'd got my camera kit together to take a few choccy-boxy shots of Ye Oldey Cotswoldeys.
That "lines for snowballs" is a typically pathetic symptom of this p-c, nanny-state that bleats about empowerment yet dehumanizes its people more each day. Probably blue's sister was also adding to the greenhouse effct by getting so excited that she was breathing out more than her quota of carbon dioxide.
And what is happening with Fear-of-Terrorist mentality infecting weather forecasters of late??! They crank up people's fear levels by overblowing what the weather will be in a week's time, so everyone's expecting a rain of frogs and biblical apocalypse...then they actually have the neck to advise you on your movements: "oooooh, make sure you wrap up warm...", etc;...then the weather turns out normal, whilst people have taken their kids off school, themselves off work and have stockpiled red cross parcels to weather out the conflagration...Sheesh!!
No wonder folks are generally freakingly without hope: kids who are enslaved by the latest "i-sm", unable to have an opinion unless the government has allowed it, going to universities to put themselves in debt for something that should be and used to be free, then dudes in their early 20s facing life with a millstone of debt around their necks in a society that is intent on destroying Family and pride in one's own gender, nation and contribution...aaaaargghhh!!
  ...er....I said that aloud, didn't I...?
Um...er, nope, snow all gone here.
