as title says ..

anyone know any online stores, that carry Original Floyd Rose tremolos? Thomann only has ibanez floyds and i think the gotoh one, but i want an OFR.

links apretiated, but EU only, as i dont want to pay additional import taxes.

private geetar used to sell them in the UK (not online, they had a website, but you couldn't buy from it for some reason), but their website isn't working any more... :?

^ yeah, to be fair they probably have a lot more dealers than that... those may be the distributors.

Soho Soundhouse always used to sell them, but their website never works.
To be honest with the weak dollar and lower US pricing you're best off buying one from Warmoth (from $170) even after shipping and duty it'll still be probably less than here.

from my experience, no matter where the $ stands, it's never cheaper than buying the same thing here.

Well they are made in Germany

Davey - we will be getting some as soon as funds allow as there is no official outlet here in the UK currently - how soon do you need one?

I know someone selling new ones on ebay as well if you are in a rush

So we can help you on that front

Slightly off topic but does anyone know much about the Ping Floyd Roses that get some good reviews? One of the main points seems to be they use a brass block but I thought the OFR had a brass block painted silver.

FAIK, floyds have a brass block.. they used to use chrome or some other ones, but went back to using nickel plated chrome blocks.

jonathan.. are there any chrome schallers in there? :D

and 808 .. i did go :D .. as i walked in, we chatted a bit, then he put me to work... LOL. enjoyed it though
