Just came back from a real nice gig, only 4 bands, all death metal, very casual.

Anyway, managed to see a fantastic set from a band called Speed Theory:

They're could have only been about 30ish people there, and it was absolutely great fun. Awesome guys and an absolutely great performance, so if you see them coming to your town I suggest checking them out.

One of the guitarists even gave me a pick :P

hmm.. as with most modern metal I like the riffs etc but the vocals really let them down imho and stop me from being able to get into it..

Heh it's a small old world, were playing with them in April at the Hub in Exeter, should be fun.

I like the tone too, highs are a little fizzy, but it's awesome!
