hey guys,
just joined,
iv heard about these pickups but never looked into em, and once i heard a clip someone did i realised that these could be MY pickups.
iv got a jb but its very bright, id get emgs but id like to stay passive.
i have an ibanez sz320 soon to be running into a laney gh50l and im looking to find a pickup for this guitar.  i heard the clip of one of the guys did with a warpig for the some whiplash and i loved that tone.  im looking for a heavy aggressive metal tone and i think the warpig is right up my alley.
but can anyone recomend another pickup that would suit my setup, laneys are ment to be very bright amps.  thx for any help guys

forgot to add that i play rythm, not much of a lead or clean player.
bands i like are korn, lamb of god, unearth, bigwig, mastodon

Dude you have definatly found your pickups, i'd say either warpigs or miracle man.... i've currently got and emg zack wylde set 81 85 in one of my main guitars, and i've decided to sell them and i think im gonna get ceramic warpigs.... the emgs are good but they just sounds too sterile....

Welcome dude! and yes to what the guys above said. although if you wanna mix it up a bit to give a slighty more adjustable style then put either a nailbomb or holy diver with one of the others that way you can deal with a slightly bassier tone.

Nailbombs may be a tad too bright, methinks... I've got a nailbomb bridge in alder - not an overly bright timber - and it REALLY cuts.

what wood is you guitar made from? cos if its alder or maple or walnut then i wouldn't bother with the nailbomb and go for a warpig bridge with a holy diver neck. but if it's mahogany then go for a WP bridge NB neck or a MM bridge HD neck.

for rythm i suggest the a WP bridge with a HD neck if you wanted lead then WP bridge with a MM/NB neck and for a nice mix then MM bridge with HD neck.

BUT your sure you just do rythm, then, WP-bridge HD-neck.

For down tuned metal rhythm you can't beat the Warpig.

I was really wondering why the Web suddenly seemed so devoid of nutcases, but then I found this forum... bingo! Hi everybody!

I just ordered a set of Nailbombs the other day - a recommendation by my famous namesake Tim for my Music Man Axis.

Does any of you guys know about lead times? BKP didn't specify in the order confirmation. It's just that I'd reeeely like to get them in before a current series of heavy gigging weekends is over. I live in Berlin, Germany.
