According to Wikipedia :D, Limewood doesn't exist ^_^  I've definitely never heard of it.  Plus, I'd be intrigued by somebody saying "This guitar's worth £1000 and I bought it for £650", might imply that they want to make a profit by selling it for more than they got it for.  Possibly.  I don't do human psychology on Ebay, I usually just Buy it Now :D

Never heard of lime trees?  I don't know, young people today...

It's probably basswood, to all intents and purposes:

limewood is apparently the european name for basswood, so the guitar is basswood

Yeah, it's basswood, they're not that rare and that's not a particularly nice example.

i had a solid black one of those....

pickups were poo! (i put some sort of dimarzio hb in it... megabucker? er it was the highest output one at the time :P.. couple of years before i found BKPs)

guitar itself was SOLID though, really well made.

neck was a bit weird for me, the frets were quite tall.... nice guitar though.. traded it for a Charvel M4 :D

It was MINT, 2nd hand. i paid about £330, 4 years ago ;)

*well i traded a battered cricket back necked korean BC Rich Assasain and £130 for it... it was up for about £300-330 afaik
