Hey, Bee!

Nice to see you've made it to the other side. ;)

Dunno about that combination, but someone will chime in soon.

If you look in the Gallery you will see pics of all kinds of P90s that BK makes.
I'm assuming this is for your HH Pacifica? Can you post a pic of the guitar in question, along with details: wood type, bridge, swtiching options, etc etc.

Benno,

I'm actually gassing for a G&L ASAT Deluxe... to fund that - I'm searching for a job. Obviously, I'm going to have to re-pay some debts, but you have to have a battle plan, don'tcha!

I also can't get a decent clean sound out of my Pac (CR/Stock/DD)... so middle coil suggestions would be appreciated too. :)

Well, the Irish Tour is the best single coil I've encountered yet.

Yep, I spent an hour or two today downloading EVERY single clip in this forum and I'm now taking the time to analyse each one. I'm digging them all - especially this one of the Emerald.

I have a Crawler/2 BKP-91 set up in a PRS EG (H/S/S), and they work together really well.   I have an Alnico IV Stormy Monday in the neck on an LP (with a A5 Riff-Raff in the bridge).  The SM is a great blues tone, but I am not sure if you might not be better with a Mule/P-90 combo if you want to have a bit rockier tone.

Of course if it was up to me, I would tell you to go for the Crawler/P-91     You can clean this up great by just backing off the volume, but when you crank it you get a serious s**t eating grin moment!
So many pickups, so little time

I have a pig-90 that is in my shipping from England - so it won't be here for a month

I also have a tapped Mississippi Queen (H/B size P-90).  Tim wound it as a 'Black Dog' P-90 at full output, with a tap at about 8000 turns (I think!).  It is great, the tap doesn't affect the volume much, but it changes the tone a lot.  It is great for driving and then backing off for rhythm, or doing a bluesy solo and then adding some more mid drive.  Unfortunately this is also in my shipping (there are 7 guitars coming)  :zzzzz:
