Amp recommendations needed!

Y'mean the Peavey ValveKing?  Yeah, I was just reading through BM's topic about amp recommendations, and it does look good.  Luckily, I believe there's a guitar shop near my home (in Cheadle, Sounds Great Music) that has one in so I'll be able to try it out at Easter when I'm back home.

Also, BM, you got it right- crushing distortion is what I'm going for... but I complicate matters by also looking for a nice clean tone :D

:)  yeah i want a clean tone, but it doesn't really have to be that breathtaking.

i really want a VK head now, i can't see anything wrong with it. plus it's got cool features like a "texture" control, and a volume and/or gain boost, footswitchable!

i think this is a great amp, and i can't see why i shouldn't buy it.

So, from what I read on the last page, the optimum idea would be a Peavey Valveking and then a different cab like a Framus 2x12 or something?  Any recommendations on what cab would suit the VK best?
