I used the standard thin neck contour. Mostly, I liked the fretboard on this particular neck (from the showcase) and all the measurements were pretty standard. Nut width is 1-11/16", 10-16" compound radius fretboard. The neck shape itself is a bit thinner than my MIM Strat. I usually like thicker necks, but this one feels really nice. The bridge I used is a Wilkinson/Gotoh VSVG Vintage Tremolo. So far it's been really nice for keeping everything in tune, even though I haven't played the guitar extensively yet. I'll let you know when the pickups come.
With this guitar, I just wanted to capture some vintage vibe while making use of some modern improvements. (Naturally, it had to look good too.)
It also doesn't hurt that I play through a Deluxe Reverb amp. :lol:
