haha when my gran asked me to play something to her, i played her Master of Puppets  :D
and once, i played her raining blood. good thing there was no lyrics (just me playing), because she is Christian!

V nice. I wish ...
They would prbly still have looked at me blankly though as it wasn't Crowded House or Savage Garden :) Although saying that the simple Blues scale solo I played got me applause. I think there was a style clash at work - everyone else was into slow but complex hand stretching chords, I play fast up and down the fretboard but mainly only with two fingers :)

No, with an accoustic probably 'You Shook Me All Night Long' wich is really great on accoustic. Then some old time rock n' roll stuff mostly from Elvis' Sun period.

Learn some Crowded House yourself-or confuse em with a Neil Finn song-plenty of great ones to choose from. One that I knock out in those situations is The Rolling Stones "Wild Horses".

Wild horses ... sweet. In fact, i'm trying to learn some more accoustic stuff and I think I shall start with that! :)

Now all I need is another wedding where there are a bunch of guitars lying about ... hmmm ... :?:
