Sigh... Sailor Charon's not happy...

I'm very happy with the tone of my Strat. Unfortunately... that's about all. :(
I'm not too happy with the neck, or the volume knob - it gets in the way...
Love the tone though. What the 'eck shall I do? My Strat was meant to be my 'loud'(er) guitar compared to my SG - which has got a really nice, thin neck, and better access to the top frets, and if it was a tune-o-matic bridge and stop tail would be ideal (although I'm getting used to the wrapover bridge now).
I'm considering getting an SG with 3 Painkillers (coil splittable) and  5 position switching (How a coil split  Painkiller compares to a Trilogy Suite I don't know) to replace it, but it's got a lot of sentimental value...

dude you could pick up a new neck relatively cheaply if you don't like the one that's on there, and moving the volume control is easy - just change the pickguard :? i bet you could do both for under £100 if you needed to.
LOVING the Mules!

I feel the same way about the volume control on the Strat, which is why I removed all of em off my guitars!

As for the neck ... a new neck will do wonders! Strats are amazing because they are so easily modded. You can basically make em into anything you want ... besides a Les Paul! ;)
