i think the speaker on my ampis knackered cos its very muddy now with settings same

:lol:! That's the first time you have ever said that, usually it's more distortion!!!

I love the riffs and tone when it gets into those power chords though, sounds quality!

Good playing, me likey :)

The tone can be a tricky one, and is obviously a matter of personal preference. Personally, I like a big old fat bit of bass in the guitar tone. However, if you are playing in a band you have a bass player to provide the bass for you so there is an argument that the guitars should be only mids and treble.

I would say the tone you have here is a great band sound, as the bassist will fill out the lower frequencies, leaving you to do the nifty stuff on top :D

So IMO, good crunching!

take a listen now that its double tracfked see if you think it needs more bass.

the bass player is gonna record some bass later anyways
