Fiddler's Elbow Tonight

If anyone can come to the Fiddler's Elbow in Camden tonight, then you can see my mate's band Halide doing their first gig. They're asking me to advertise a variety of places, so basically - If you have nothing to do tonight then come along, will be a laugh.

Basically melodic death shred guitar metal, there are some other bands there aswell, but I can't quite remember names so I won't pretend to..

Entry's a fiver, doors open at 8.

Haha!

Was an ace gig, with some great bands.

My mates played a fantastic set, and the band after them were called Kerb Grinder, who were also phenomenal (Stick spinning drummer that was doing vocals... What more could you ask for?).

Was an overload of ESP guitars though, over the course of the night about 4 or 5 were played.

3 ESP, 1 LTD, if I remember right.

My mate had to use his LTD when he dive bombed and snapped his D string =/

Was amazingly efficient at changing guitar though, didn't even notice :P

Hell yeah, tis a shame that the owner of the place was such an arsehole.

The singer got kicked out after their set because he had been blamed for bringing in vodka which was bought outside into the place, when the people who brought it didn't even know him.

Another mate of mine got kicked out after spending £16 on entry and drinks, and when he couldn't afford any more of the house drinks he went to the off license and bought some cider, came in, and got kicked out instantaneously.

You'd think the entry price would entitle you to some freedom, but I guess not =/

Only real problem was the guy who had to be shifted to hospital from having an epileptic fit after being accidentally punched in the face by some scene kid two-step dancing :S

At least I got to see Bruce Dickinson there :P
