I've had one of those great tone days that you need to shout about.

My "Uber Sinner" simply shines/barks/growls/sings in my lite ash strat.
The thing is F**kin amazing, standing head to head with my Warpig & Miracle Man HBs.  PDT_045

It's still a true single coil but that just makes it so much sweeter..

The time and effort it takes to wind is much appreciated.

I've just seen the camo covers for the single coils in the gallery and that is just about the only change I would make.

I took the time to rethink my settings throughout the chain and test each guitar clinically & I'm revitalised.

Thanks Tim and all the BKP guys!  I need more and more....

Right, I really can't decide between Uber Single coils or Miracle Mn at the moment, just the Uber single coils are a LOT cheaper!

And the new camo covers for singles.....WOW!

Afghan Dave, could you post some soundclips, I'd love to see how they sound in your Strat!

Hi bucketshred,

Sorry but I can't get anything through my PC at the mo but I can give you my honest and clear advice.

If you are in love with the sound of a Miracle Man yet find scr@ping the cash together a bit of a bind, wait a bit longer before deciding on a Sinner.

The sinner shares more in common with the Warpig rather than the MM.  It has a dark sonic family resemblence. The sound for rhythm guitars is awsome with bite and grind jumping out of a Marshall. You can hear much more separation in the harmonic content of the chords and there is nowhere to hide. I've even had a blast playing BLS Suicide Messiah on a strat with a SINGLE Coil! That shouldn't be possible.

It won't satisfy your MM need though it will give a "silly grin" for days when you show people your "stock" strat then burn the hell out of the amp valves.

My plan is to refret my lite ash strat with jumbo stainless steel for ultra wide neck bends and it may just become my No1 player.

I recently got a sinner plus 2 mothers milk in my strat, and it just blows any single coil i've ever heard away, everyone at the guitar course were just like WOA!! how is that a single coil?

An unbelievable pick up that will be going in any other single coil guitars i buy.

Hey 'shred, My ex girlfriend used to live in Kettering and if you studied music
at school locally I probably know your ex-teachers.

Back in the day I was up your way every weekend so I could have let you play on my Strat, but now I'm only up for the odd boozy night in either the Earl / Sportsmans or any of the other dirt cheap bars.

If you drink we've probably been in the same bar before all the fighting kicks off at the bus stops and I run for Boston's diner...

Aye, I generally go in the Prince, good alternative disco on Friday nights.

Anywho, if you are in Kettering on a Saturday, I'll probably be working at Intersales Music (opposite all the pubs and shizz) so just pop in there and ask for Andy :D

What is the DC thing on the Uber Sinner? I am thinkin about getin some new BKP's for my strat and I need something chunky for the bridge position cos normally singlecoils are too weak for me, even for clean!

My Sinner is around 21/22 DC

I was thinking of moving it to the neck & adding a warpig but then I would lose that "quack" I have which was the reason I bought the Strat in the first place!

I keep modding my guitars down the same route so I'm going to leave things just as they are.

The trilogy suite would be a good choice for that. I wouldn’t put a sinner in the neck, it would probably get a bit muddy because of the high resistance.

i was thinking of that, but from the clips i've heard i didnt really like the Trilogy... but i loved the Mothers Milk in that mix song Steve did...

Just thinking it might be too underpowered as standard to match the MM?
