Heaven & Hell Live + Iced Earth in UK
« on: March 28, 2007, 05:18:17 PM »
Just got mail from the Iommi.com site that not only is Heaven & Hell doing a UK tour, but Iced Earth is one of the support acts.  So I get to see Tim as well as the ol' geezers -- rocking!

It's an exciting prospect, but the London date is at Wembley Arena - I hate that atmosphere-free cowshed.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Imagine a Tony Iommi signature BKP. It would do wonders for the company. It would give me some serious GAS for an SG and those pickups. though.

Me too, but I don't see another workable option for me if I'm gonna see this tour at all.  :? It will have to do!

Tim actually isn't in Iced Earth anymore. He had to leave the band recently due to unforseen problems. Have a look on the Iced Earth website to see the whole story.

I'm afraid I'm not doing the IE gig anymore for a variety of reasons but I would like to point out that although one of the guys here has got cancer it's not terminal in so far as we know, it's early on and he's working through it. He has our full support and I'm confident he'll continue to be part of the team. It's very much business as usual and we're looking forward to seeing you all at LGS.

Wow, no I hadn't heard that news :!:   Very shocked to hear it.

What can I say but I wish the very best to the afflicted, the friends and family, and all at BKP.  (My grandma's second husband was recently diagnosed with what is almost surely terminal cancer, so I know how tough that is on loved ones as well as the patient.)

Roll on, BKP! :guitar4:

Very sorry to hear the news re. the BKP staffer and Tim's leaving of Iced Earth.  Best wishes to the person concerned, and good luck to Tim in his next musical extravaganza.

It's just an opinion but I think the Warpig is a bit too hot, too bassy and not edgy enough. I'm not dissing the warpig. I have one and love it.

I'm waiting for the Pig90 clips. I have a feeling those will come very close to what I think is an Iommi sound.

Tim, I'm sorry to hear all of that. Your support to 'your guys' is very commendable. MAX RESPECT!
