Warpig - Caveman Doom Metal.. *Warpig Content*
« on: April 03, 2007, 09:29:01 AM »
Two new songs from our E.P. are now on our myspace. www.myspace.com/conandoomconan.

They aren't mastered yet fully but these are 95% of the quality they should be.

I have reduced the bitrate for filesizemyspaceness but I hope you all like.

Krull - 11 mins. Feedbackarama.
Battle In The Swamp - 6 mins. SOunds Like old school Anthrax but with a fuzz engine.

Let me know your thoughts on our page or in here please :o).

We are also going to release these two songs with KETEA on a different split release so that should be cool too :o). Still waiting on It's Casual for a release with them too.

Thanks.

Jon.

Hey mate, Meathead deluxe into two amps. 1 - Selmer Treble n bass 50 watt valve head (on it's 'bass' channel) into a Marshall 4 x 12 and 2- 100 watt HH bass head into a 1 x 15.

Get all the bottom end I need from it man :o).

Heh, awesome!

I actually totally dig "Krull": 11 minutes of Warpig-powered plod + howling vocals?  What's not to like?! :)  And "Battle in the Swamp" rocks (though I particularly like it when it dives into doom, too, twoards the end, around minute 3ish).

Damn, you don't need a bass with a Warpig goin' at it down there, do you!   :guitar4:

Also, a million bonus points for referencing Conan and Krull; I listen to the soundtracks of both regularly ( though neither sounds particularly like this ;)) though I don't actually own the Krull film on DVD.

Thanks man, well if you look closely enough, one of the tracks on the KRULL sound track is called 'Battle In The Swamp' - I just wrote around it a bit :o).

Thanks very much, add us on myspace if you haven't already?

Speak soon bud, Jon.

Already did!  And posted appreciative commentary, as is only just and proper. :)

Man, that Warpig tone is just beautifully brutal!

Yeah, that's me.
There are a million pictures on Myspace of guys with their LP-style guitars, so I keep the Rick bass picture there to stand out a little.  People remember it! ;)
