Rebel Yell has arrived! Pics + clip

I'll start by saying that this comes with the coolest packaging of any BKPs:

And here it is in the guitar:

This pickup sounds SO BLOODY GOOD! I love it and I havent even tweaked it to perfection yet :D Perfect hard rock tone. Heres a quick clip of me running this guitar straight into my Laney (bit fizzy due to not being able to crank it loads).

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=493678&songID=5194481

I think the guitar needs a proper set up because it wont stay in tune at the minute (though could just be the new strings). I'm taking it to a jam night on Sunday hopefully so we'll see how it sounds live :) Thanks to everyone at BKP for the quick delivery, and for putting up with all my annoying emails

edit - my only criticism is that I dont like the flat-head screws for height adjustment instead of cross-head, made fitting it into the mounting ring a bit of a pain in the arse.

Thanks for the clip bro!

I'm really considering the Rebel Yell for my Standard.

Was that some Monkey Business I heard in that clip?

Twinfan, ya won't be disappointed with the Mule in your LP!

Indeed it was, played wrong though I think

I bet Rebel Yells sound great in an LP, probably like this but larger

Ben, I feel kinda guilty for asking you so many questions and then not even getting what you suggested, but Tim said the VHII would probably sound too bright and didnt even suggest a NB or MM.

You should feel guilty! PDT_008

No worries, as long as you're happy with your final decision, it's all good.

wow, that sounds excellent!

what is it with bark at the moon at the moment? our mob-mentality of GAS/flavour of the month gear is carrying over to which songs we all decide to learn?

 I read that thread this morning, and I always love playing that BATM riff anyway. Still stuck on the solo though :?

Hunter, yeah, I'm allready wanting another LP-style axe to put some VHIIs in  I've had the Laney since November and I still love it, thats the sign of a good piece of gear, no 'flavour of the month' for me :D

The zebra looks good, and the clip sounds great.  Wasn't expecting so much thump in the bass in that guitar, glad it worked out!
