Just wondering if anyone has experience with neodymium guitar speakers and how they rate with ceramic and alnico?  I also know that there are some pickups made of neodymium from http://www.q-tuner.com/  and they look quite weird, but besides that, Im wondering how they would compare again to alnico and ceramic?

anyone have any thoughts, or experiences?

thanks

they sound very nice. The sound is like an acoustic guitar, even with the humbucker. Overdriven sounds would be tasty i think. No experiance what so ever. They look strange, very strange... Nice in a black or a red guitar....

I replaced the Celestion G12T-85 in my Rivera with a Celestion Century Vintage, and was well pleased with the results.

Tonally, the sound is noticibly brighter, but I like that. Weight-wise, it shaved 4lbs off the weight of my combo, which was a god-send.

Highly recommended from me, but I can see how some people could find them a touch on the bright side. My best advice would be to try one out if you can.

Cheers,
Jordan.
