Next big guitar-related purchase is going to be a new amp, make and model as yet undetermined, but it will be all valve, with at least 3 channels, and won't need a NASA sized budget. (The Marshall JVM 410H is currently ahead on points.)
However, for several reasons I don't want a 4x12 cab. These reasons are:
1. Cost
2. Weight - Call me a weakling if you like, but I can't be arsed to cart a 4x12 about by myself.
3. Size - Quite aside from anything else, my car isn't big enough to carry a 4x12 plus guitars and amp head, plus me, to rehearsals, jams, gigs etc.
Upshot of all this is, I'm looking at 2x12 cabs, and I'm after recommendations. I've seen the Harley Benton cabs on Thomann.de, but they look a little too cheap to be in it for the long term.
I've seen the Marshall 2x12 cabs, but I was wondering if there are any other manufacturers out there doing good quality, good value cabs.
My budget for the cab is around £350-400, but less would be great.
Any and all suggestions welcome. Cheers for reading,
Si
