Good spare parts suppliers, especially scratchplates?
« on: April 11, 2007, 02:58:21 PM »
I need a supplier for some odds and sods for guitars... most notably a 3-ply black Tele scratchplate. The one I got from www.axesrus.com is alright but man, it's cut really sloppy and doesn't look like it'll fit properly. Hence why it only cost a few quid.

Also, I pondered changing the plate on my SG from the "broken" type '61 plate to the more normal one.

Any suggestions welcome, many thanks in advance.

I clicked that and half expected it to be a gag... so no, I haven't but I'll certainly bookmark this one.

Cheers!  :D

None of those are particularly cheap, so eBay's always worth a look too.

Woah, double nice-one! I don't begrudge paying a tenner or so for a scratchplate if it's well cut and quality materials. It's all good.

WDMusic's looking the most likely.

Seeing as you pleaded so passionately, I shall reconsider. Heh.
