Great show by BLS last night in Winnipeg. 2 1/2 hours, and only $50 Cdn for the ticket = great deal. He played great and did a helluva job keeping the crowd going, told some good stories between a few songs. After the show he was down in front in the crowd hugging and high five-ing the fans. I love the polka dot and bullseye flying V's. I heard the sound wasn't so great in spots but that has more to do with how they had to setup in that ancient building. Where I was sitting it was killer. "That's what Rock 'n' Rolls about"

We were on the first balcony and were quite close and in my non-professional opinion that hair looked washed. The hygiene rumours may be greatly exaggerated.   :)

hahahahaha, awesome!

EDIT: glad you liked the gig. I like zakk, he can be a bit of a douche, i disagree with his political outbursts, 357, etc. but he writes good songs, in my opinion, and can play.

Thinking about it, when you put it that way, he's the new Ted Nugent.

Sounds good Bird! I saw him play in London 2 years back and that gig went on the DVD. He does a good job of getting the crowd going eh!

Johnny, do you not remember early 90s hair farmers Nelson?

They were a bit like Winger, with more schmaltz and a lot less talent.  And they had a shredder called Brett Garsed in their band.  Then after they were killed by Grunge, they went country (I think).

They're the sons of Ricky Nelson, the grandsons of Ozzie and Harriet Nelson, and their sister Tracy played Sister Stephanie on Father Dowling Investigates, trivia buffs.

And no, I'm not a fan (but I did like Father Dowling Investigates).
