Check out the HBE medicene bawl wah. amazing vintage tones and can do the modern wah sound as well, really responsive and rich sounding and TRUE bypass.

The Gilmour stuff sounds great Hunter.  You've got his style down really well too.

Re the Singlecut - do you consider getting the real deal / US built? Their price is just crazy but I would die to have a trem version ... they are just so stylish and tasty ...

I wish ... if I could hide the credit card bill, I would own:

    http://www.prsguitars.com/singlecuttremsatin/index.html

but will prbly get:

    http://www.prsguitars.com/sesinglecut/index.html

I am however currently torn between the PRS (would add mule / stormy monday neck) and an Epiphone explorer Goth (resulting in Miracle Man and Cold sweat neck). Decisions!

In comparison the SE looks so bad - Which is a shame cos it's such a good guitar.

But the beautiful carved top and the recessed 3way on the Singlecut is just beautiful.

Those are two very different guitars (and sets of pickups)!

I think you will have to buy both...

I don't like bound necks so much, they make refret really expensive and I like the corner of a worn in unbound neck. Ever played a James Tyler? Do it and you'll never again ask for neck binding

it just doesnt feel right to me playing a singlecut guitar with no neck binding. it's stupid i know; i don't mind no neck binding at all on the double cut PRS designs, but a lespaul-alike, minus binding looks cheap...

I really want a double cut PRS with a bolt-on one piece maple neck and korina body, maple top and a HSS configuration. O - and finished in satin, with holy divers. Maybe one day i'll get Feline to make me something like that.

Yeah, I need to decide what the next guitar is exactly for ... I was set on the PRS for low gain / classic rock. But then I saw the Goth Explorer in a shop and a new plan suddenly formed ... given I've already got an SG loaded with warpigs, the PRS would make sense but  .... damn, I think I will have to buy both ...  :?

Yeah, it would have to be less gain and more volume I think. Re the Wah I might have to tweak it for a bitmo mid honk and less treble spike, then it could get there.

not to bring back an old topic, but i was searching through the players forum and i stumbled upon this - behold the ecstasy!  I will not shower you with accolades again Hunter, but wow, i love it.  Also, i am not so big on floyd - what song is this?  I quite like it :)
