If you're interested, I was playing a Strat with Apaches into a Hot Rod Deluxe via a Box of Rock. The other guitarist was playing a Tele straight into a Hot Rod Deville. The guitars don't sound as good in the mix as they did in the room and but I'm reasonably happy with the tracks as a whole.
