They wind me up REALLY bad, but a great post on the Les Paul forum:

I'm about to trade my '61 Les Paul Custom for some other vintage gear and need to know the approximate value.

The LP is a '61, all original except frets, pots and pickups. Currently has modern production Gibson 'PAF RIs. No breaks or repairs. Finish is white, 8.5 cond and all plastic is there and correct. Sideways vibrola and ABR-1 w/wire and nylon saddles. Nice neck shape, not thin at all. I've got the OHSC. Not a museum piece but but no issues other than the missing PAFs and refret.

All original huh???

For all you "Only Fools & Horses" fans..

This reminds me of Triggers broom

He then proudly holds up the brush and claims "Maintained it for 20 years. This old broom's had 17 new heads and 14 new handles in its time.")
