Saw him with Firewind for the second time last night!! They $%&#ing ruled Camden Underworld!!
Playing was insane and so was the other guitarist Bob Katsionis who played a guitar and keyboard solo at the same time :P And i also caught his pick :D

Anyways does anyone know what Gus offically uses in the studio because he was playing Laney VH100R's in December with Dragonforce and yesterday he was playing with Randall Valvestates!
He sounded the same as he does on the record though both times! His tone is awesome i think he uses Krank but not sure.

not sure on his amps, but he uses ESP guitars \ SD pickups.

Hes a fantastic player, make sure to check out Dream Evil, Nightrage and Mystic Prophecy.. Nightrage is decent melodic death stuff!

Haha yeah i've checked out those bands before, Dream Evil (with the exclusion of the really cheesy songs) rule and Nightrage sounded pretty damn good too, since then though he has quite everything and is focusing on Firewind, but i think he is at his best in Firewind anyways :D

haha, he seems to be juggling around amps! try to find out what he endorses by looking on the lists on the websites of the amps, or even the Firewind website/myspace.

He endorses Krank i think, i think quite a few bands just rent out amps when they come to foreign countries as bringing their own can be expensive and things can get broken. And as i said Gus G is such an awesome player he just makes it sound like him no matter what amp he is using.
