funny, but I think I'll stick to the original

And you should have sung all of it in french

If you can't speak french, just go heehaw heehaw heehaw to the tune, not even they'll know the difference.

Right ....

Juat like France can't recognise good cooking, ettiquette, the republic, art, fashion, and women who are hot whilst smoking?

guess its not possible to please everyone... and of course the original is quite alot better ;) would be marvellous to sing it all in french, but i'm english after all and cant speak any foreign languages past 'a beer please'.

Devon8822: i see it as a punk song really, maybe this is not right and i knew that some negative comments would come, and in some way i agree myself especially considering the original and the marvellous video. playing through a sansamp gt2 - british setting, gain set to 11 o'clock. reverb, delay and mid boost on ableton live. the mules were completely clear, and sounded alive - even with this 'old fashioned' modeller. not necessary to use much gain at all, the tone really comes from the pups. whack th strings on a mule and you dont miss high gain pickups at all. i've had riff raffs for ages, and they are fine too, but mules are very much my tatse.
