P90s in P100 cavity?
« on: July 14, 2005, 02:12:10 PM »
I'm not sure of the different pickup dimensions, so I was just wondering if I could retrofit BKP P90's (or any P90 I guess) in a stacked P90 cavity. Would I need maybe some rubber or foam to boost the height of the P90s?

Thanks, tav

I'm guessing that if you have P100's, you should be able to fit any after-market P90 style pickup.

Visually, to me anyway, the P100's I've seen look identical to the P90.

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering about the depth, since the P100s have 2 stacked coils.

I would again guess at the depths of the pickup hole being the same, as P100 equipped guitars also seem to have P90 equipped variants.
