Jackson J90C vs Rebel Yell comparison clip!
« on: May 08, 2007, 05:13:19 PM »
So I put the J90C back in my Charvel because I was going to sell it (wasnt happy with the tone, even with the Rebel Yell). I then decided I wasnt going to sell it so I was going to put the Rebel Yell back in because the J90C sounds a bit scooped. Anyway, I thought I'd do a comparison clip.

First is the J90C (with badly tuned guitar), then the Rebel Yell. As you can hear the RY is louder and has more bite/treble/mids. Definitely a keeper!

I'll make a proper clip soon, but this'll do for now :P

Both sound great, also just the right amount of gain on DeLaney but in a full song mix, the jackson pickup would just get lost, the RY would stand out.
