Assembling my project
« on: May 09, 2007, 01:29:24 AM »
Hi again to all,

This project is for the future but it has so many things I must think of, so I started the research from now.
I've read many threads here about the pickups I'm mostly interested in and I finally decided for the MM as Tim recommended also. I read that it has more of strong lows and low mids and I think it will fit in an all-maple guitar very well and it has a tone that I like really very much.

I'm thinking of this guitar (maple body, maple neck, rosewood board, neck-through) to pass through an Engl Fireball.

I'd really like to hear any opinions if this combination of the guitar-pickup-amp will hopefully work well, as I don't want to get a guitar that boosts the same frequencies with the pickup and the amp and get a trashy sound in the end.

Thank you for all the suggestions in my previous thread! Any opinions will be highly appreciated.

For neck I'm thinking a cold sweat.
