Woaouh ! I just replaced my M&B 6L6's with a pair of TAD 6L6 WGC and the difference is simply stunning !It's like a new amp, super sensitive, warm cleans and beautiful breack up... :D I was not completely satisfied with my new set of Mules (too bright/clean and almost single coil or acoustic) but with the TAD,it's beautiful now.But i hear a little bit of microphonics (some "ringing"with some bass notes),if it  stays like that ,it's not a problem, though. Is it normal or is it a sign that it will not last long?I hope it's nothing serious because i like them very much ! For the Mules, should i change the height? :?:

You should experiment until you get the sound you're after. PAF's are really sensitive to height adjustment. A greater distance between the strings and the pickups will yield a softer, less dynamic but airier sound. A small distance will give you a louder, brighter and punchier sound. I prefer my Mules as close to the strings as possible, they sound very aggressive that way.

I found the volume controls were WAY sensitive having the Mules at 2mm from the strings when fretted at the last fret.  I've dropped them to 3mm and they're much less sensitive and more vintage sounding.

Like Peter says, try a few settings and see what you like the sound of.
