Only 10 days left until I make an honest woman of my nearly wifey (or vise versa).
Dunno why I'm not cr@pping myself yet, but there you go, no doubt it will come at some point.
Everything is all paid for (except the band, cake and suits), but luckily enough I get paid next Friday (and married on the Sunday) so that should be covered. Probably have trouble paying the rent, but I'll worry about that when I come back off honeymoon.
We're off to a place called Cape Verde for the honeymoon and the nearly wifey is letting me buy another guitar. There's a bloke there called Bau (real name Rufino Almeida) who makes very nice acoustics so I'm told and as it is not a rich island, I should be able to afford a nice one. I've been told that you can get a really nice one (all hand built) for about £50, but I'll believe that when I see it.
This is going to be the most expensive party I've ever thrown, so here's hoping it all goes well.
Not quite sure why I'm posting this on here, it might have something to do with fact that I've just finished designing a project that was a real pain in the arse and I think I deserve a 10 minute break. Either way, wish me luck. I'll post a photo when we get back so you can see what a donkey I'll look in tails and how tasty my wife is
