New Guitar ESP Eclipse I CTM VW
« on: May 23, 2007, 06:03:37 PM »
Hey! well I just bought a ESP Eclipse off G from Sylosis (www.myspace.com/sylosis check them out!) I will take some better pics when i acctually get it! I wasnt sure about the vintage white finish at first as i wanted the snow white but i think this looks more classy and is more randy rhoades/zakk wylde style! plus it has a satin finish on the neck which the snow white doesnt!

Only bad news is i am going to have to sell my esp mh1000 to help pay for it!

Gorgeous!

I totally dig those Eclipses - They're phenomenal guitars - MUCH better than current Les Pauls.
My last FM.
ESP Horizon NTII.
ESP Viper Camo.
ENGL Screamer.

well to tell you the truth....and i never normally do this when buying guitars...but i have never played one as i couldnt find anywhere that stocked them...so i just took a risk and figured if i dont like it i will just sell it...im sure i will though!! this will be my first proper ESP..i have owned a few LTD's in the past and have been happy with them so have high expectations for this!

looks great!

sylosis are getting really well known really quickly, so in a way it's a rock star's guitar! (well, metal star)

that looks better than any Gibsons, too.... loving the inlays!

I'd have bought one of those a long time ago if I could get used to those inlays. The guitars are great, but christ I hate those damn flag things.

very nice- i tried an eclipse II in see-thru black ages ago, was impressed.

I like the flags, but i could see how they could take your attention... they kind of ripple, look like they're moving!

I totally agree. If I was going to drop a grand on an LP-style guitar, you can be damn sure my first ports of call would be the Fernandes Monterey and the ESP Eclipses.

i am open to offers on the eclipse and the ibanez. bearing in mind the eclipse is in MINT condition and has had a pro setup and they retail for £1300. to be honest id rather not sell the ibanez if i didnt have to..it has alot of memories! so it would only be a last resort but still open to offers. the mh1000 i dnt think i am going to sell unless i have to either and i would be open to offers on that as well.....all the guitars have been pro setup. but yeah right now my aim is the eclipse as this is what i would get most money from! so if anyone is willing to make a reasonable offer let me know! i will definately be buying another one in the future when i have more money!

I offer £30 for both and, to sweeten the deal, I'll also thrown in 3 years worth of back issues of Total Guitar and Guitarist magazines.
