Mules playing blues/soul track, NEW MIX!
« on: May 24, 2007, 12:39:35 AM »
I have just finished recording this new track, so I hope you enjoy it!

It's called 'Life After Death'

I used my JJ Retro, hard ash body, maple top, indian rosewood fretboard, using the mule Alnico IV in the bridge. I was amazed as I've just got the Native Instuments Guitar Rig II plug in   it's incredible! I used my Samson D.I box straight into the desk recorded clean, then I added the Guitar Rig after on guitar track.

The drums are from Stienbergs Groove Agent 2 plug in, and the Organ is from Native Instrument's B4 II plug in.

The only FX I used was on the drum track, the cakewalk Tapesim plug in, and the Lexicon Pantheon reverb on the lead guitar track. There is no compression, so you may have to turn it up a bit

It was made in Sonar 5 Studio.

I dedicate this guitar solo to my Great Auntie Leah who passed away in August 2005. She was 92, lovley woman, miss her a lot.

Hope you enjoy it!

hey thanks 38th! I'm gonna try it out with a few more solos, as it was a bit rushed.

I like that a lot, shows the versatility of the Mules off brilliantly. Great playing too!

It matched the theme really well, it felt otherworldly.
