I dunno, I quite liked their first 2 albums but I didn't really like their last one, and I can't stand their new song.

I thought they used to be great - until Nick (bassist) left.  They haven't been right ever since.

I liked 'R-Rated' but 'Songs For Deaf' was a bit too slick imo.  The last album (Lullabies To Paralyse) was a step back in the right direction - the last tune with Billy Gibbons guesting is a great tune.

So, to be much less concise then previous responses, I'm very much looking forward to the new QOTSA album.

btw, has the first QOTSA album become a rarity of some kind? - they're asking £60 for it on Amazon, I'm digging my copy out right now (ebay I think, lmao)

... but being a luddite (for a change   ), I've never liked 'em as much as Kyuss.

Other way round here, I love songs for the deaf, but Rated R just seemed to me to be dull, gratuitously weird, and lacking in tunes.
I'm looking forward to the next album, but not as much as the white stripes one.
