Yeah my VC30 uses EL84's and this uses EL34's! Plus it has a bit more gain and its more what I need.

I hope someone has seen one!!

VC30 and VC50/100 are completely different amps not just different in the valves. VC30 is class A and VC50/100 is class AB and has way more gain (they are basically VH100R combos).

Yeah, thats why I`m changing. I meant the valves because my favourite players use EL34's. But I know how different they are.

Woogie, someone from my site is selling his VC50. A little bit steep at £450 though. Also, I've seen a new TT100H in my town for £450 which is a realy good price.

£450, any chance he`ll come down on that?

Is that TT a head?

I was looking at a GH but they don't make a GH combo so I hear the VC50 has the same distortion especially with EL34's. I`m looking for the big British rock tone ala hot rodded marshall but with more versatility. Think Jake E Lee crossed with Tony Iommi.

Cheers Ninja!!

Don't know if he'll come down on price but I'd say its worth asking.

And yes TT100H is a head. 100W 3 channel monster of an amp!

I just realised the VC50 that guy is selling has vintage 30s installed in it already. If you could get it for less than £400 I'd say it'd be a good buy. I told him about you btw.

I was thinking £375 - £400 with the rips in the tolex. I could get it snakeskinned for £50. I`ll make an account on your site now.

Do you think with those speakers it would be good for Zep to Ozzy?

I was gonna put an EV12 and a Greenback in or something like that!

Cheers
