Digitech GSP 2101 vs Behringer V Amp Pro
« on: May 29, 2007, 06:25:29 PM »
Hey looking for some opinions chaps,  I play any thing from Metal (Gothic/Black/Death/C;aasic) - right through to Psychedelic Rock and am wondering which of the two units would deliver the best tone to do this.  Any reccommendations.

Well I've got the Vamp Pro, and it's got good sounds and is very versatile. Problem is for me it's TOO versatile, I haven't got the patience for the tweaking and saving patches etc that's involved in getting the best from it. I'm selling mine and getting some stompboxes.

i used to owna  vamp pro and i can say they are VERY versatile and can get some very good sounds if you have the patience to sit and tweak it.

Somebody on this board uses one and gets better results than i ever did,

Im sure he will spot this thread and be able to link you to his clips pretty soon.

I had a Digitech 2101 Artist and thought it was shitee.  My friend had the 2112 and it was just as bad!  I have the Twin Tubes and really like it, so I thought the 2101 would be a big step up, but I was wrong!  The Behringer sounds good in demos, but I haven't used one myself.
