and I'm still not getting what I want.
so now it's BK time.
My Carvin has an all mahogany body with a quilted maple top/maple fret board and SS frets.
the Duncan has much better note definition than the stock Carvin bridge pick up had but it's still way too bright and a little thinner sounding than I'de like.
So I've decided I will try a BK set.
So......... what is the thickest fattest sounding bridge pickup I could put in a 7 with the woods I described and still get that good sharp note definition?
also I need a neck pickuup, my favorite neck pickup is the Duncan 59 so what BK would be similar to that (except with more balls)
I run a 5150 combo into 2 4X12 cabs one loaded with greenbacks the other with V30's.
My Jackson soloist and my 2 GMW strats sound great thru this rig.
My Carvin should sound huge and thick and it doesn't.
Help me out guys, how can I fatten and darken this thing up?
