I'de like to get some different pedals. I've always had to compromise because i don't want to spend to much money.

There is one single pedal that i bought and have not sold. And its nothing special at all.
Marshall vibrotrem. I set it to vibrato and turn the depth down so its barely noticable. It basically works great as a boost and brings out some lower mids. If anyone has this pedal you should try using it like this for a boost.

Other than that Ive had a few pedals and not really liked them.
This thread is good though, maybe i'll sell them and try some of what you guys have said here.

I really like the Fulltone RTO that I got recently, it fattens up the sound without too much distortion, though I have been using my Princeton Reverb II without any pedals and just cranked and I'm getting an awesome sound from that.

Maxon AD-999, great sounding analog pedal with a long delay time

Analogman Chorus, simple. Depth switch is a nice feature

EVH wah, great for distorted sounds, it growls.

Keeley TS808 mod plus for a nice overdrive

Analogman Boss DS-1 Pro for a think distortion.

Really want to get a BK Tube Driver next

Boss OD-1, just the right drive/boost for my marshall 2205. Ts808 is also nice but the OD-1 has more bite and brightness and stays more neutral when driving a dirty marhall head.

Boss CE-2, have it for over 20 yrs like the OD-1. Very simple chorus, but it has some kind of awww effect on women which i think is the whole point of using one anyway

Boss AD-3 Acoustic Processor, if you play amplified (semi)acoustic guitar you need something like this, everything that isnt quite like it should, you can fix it with this. You can also use it on electric guitar btw, its quite an unique soundshaping thingy.

Ive not yet found a distortion unit i really liked to use, at least pushing my amp into heavy distortion always sounded best to me. Exept offcourse for da bR00tAlz i have an old Marshall shred master pedal (which is more or less the preamp stage of the marshall valvestate series) and an MI crunchbox v1. Both are ok i suppose, but not nearly as good as real tube distortion. Also have the Blackstar HT-dist btw, but that has some issues with my marshall i cant work around, on a solid state amp its great though.

The two I use the most: - a HBE Big D and a Allums modded Boss TR2 Tremolo.

As a fun pedal - my Ibanez AW7 autowah

Twisted Transistor Treble Twister ( built by Heavier Than Hell here on the forum  :) ).  Used live into my Klipps for a LOUD 'DC tone.

Didn't know you still used that - glad it's doing the business.  It's a pedal thats not for the fainthearted, ha ha

EDIT: this is an ancient thread, didn't realise.  Are you using this pedal anymore Dave?

At the moment it's the Hardwire CM-2. I love it, it's like adding pumping fresh energy into your sound.

Here'some more pedals that I use with my other amp.

EDIT:

Yes I really need a proper pedalboard!!!

Of those 4 Overdrives I currently own I like the Hardwire most. It's the best OD I so far have owned (I also had a Visual Sound one, but don't own that pedal anymore).

I haven't been around that many pedals so I haven't got a big "base" to speak from so I better just name pedals I own.

Emma Electronics Reezafratzitz. A great distortion/overdrive pedal. Can go from Marshall to Vox tones. Very versatile. I mostly use it for more distorted tones.

T-Rex Alberta. Lovely tube screamer type of pedal. Cranked all the way up it gives a lovely AC/DC-ish tone in combination with a humbucker equiped guitar. It's just great for blues and lower gain rock. Cuts through well and is useable as a booster as well.

T-Rex Replica. A great sounding delay with tap tempo. Doesn't oscillate which I would be a nice feature in my eyes and it cuts the sound when you turn the tempo knob while playing. A bummer too. But it sounds lovely.

Boss PH-2. Maybe not the best sounding phaser, but I like its versatility. It can go quite slow and ultra fast.
Mississippi Queens, Stormy Monday/Apaches, Emeralds, Nailbomb (bridge)

I swear by an EQ in the loop and a gate infront of the amp, for obvious reasons. Currently using an MXR KK and ISP decimator in those roles.

My favourites, in no particular order:

Fulltone Clyde wah.  A great wah, need not say more.

MI Audio Boost 'n Buff. A clean boost/treble booster/buffer. Next in signal chain after my guitar. Usually the boost function is off, I just let it function as a buffer. Very low noise, can also be used in the FX loop because of the good headroom.

Mad Professor Little Green Wonder. An overdrive, with the same knob layout as a typical tube screamer, but a different character. Very organic sounding and dynamic! I mainly use it as a lead boost, but sometimes leave it on permanently and adjust my volume knob for different parts. Makes your tone bigger no matter how it's set up. I love it.

The gas pedal on my car. Used with moderation.

Wampler Super Plextortion this pedal gives great sounds. Sounds like an angry wall of Marshalls. I like it because it gives a really good warm tone, and it is a very big sound. Not thin and compressed
