WAS $%&#ING AMAZING!!!

Dave can play so fast and tight despite his hand injury that he had, much better than Glenn Drover, his lead was pretty boring, just neck pickup w**kery, everyone cheered when Dave got a solo haha.

We had an awesome setlist, was the same as the Download one except they played for much longer so we got more songs including songs which download didn't get hahaha like Tornado of Souls, She-Wolf, In my Darkest Hour etc. was packed full of loads of old school material and some stuff off the new album too.

Mustaine had some awesome custom dean v's, and generally was the life of the Megadeth party thought the bass player was pretty cool too the crowd aswel.

All in all it was one of the best gigs i have ever been to!!

aye the only members of megadeth i currently like are the bass player and mustaine

the drovers both irritate me glen just wanks mindlessly with his tone that makes all the past material sound like avenged sevenfold has written it.

and shawn well he cant even play half of the songs correctly especially the holy wars intro...thats just a mess nowadays.

Joe did they play the intro of mechanix at the gig you were at?? thats the only thing that i prefer about the megadeth version as it sounds balls as fast as it is and the solos while brilliant dont fit as well as metallicas plus metallica have the cool interlude

Hahaha, the drummer Drover didn't do anything, usually you get a drum solo, even the support band Priestess gave us a drum solo and his drum kit was half the size of Drover's.
And Glenn, well i think i have made my feelings clear.

when i saw them last year i thought drover was pretty good. better than mustaine, who's more a rhythm guitarist IMO.

they were super-tight, though.

Drover just turns his neck pickup on for every solo and sweeps and it sounds cr@p. He is fast and accurate i'll give him that but his sound just gets boring. Dave is a more tasteful soloist and solos on the bridge which is how a metal solo should be done. If Drover used the bridge for something then it would be fine but he doesn't ever ever ever use it lol

+ most of his solos sound the same.... he even manages to make the previous players solos to sound the same as his current ones.

he played all the classic solos pretty spot on when i saw them, maybe he's had the courage to play them in his own style now or something.
