when i speced a couple guitars, it always came to around 1600€

I got a quote from Ran, for the esp style guitar, reverse headstock, flamed maple, floyd rose, with flightcase etc... its 2270 euros, thats about... £1500

Something i will have to think on i think, i think warmoth could build me one for under a grand but i dont think it would be to my exact specs.

it would also require a bit of fretwork.. plus someone would have to put it together for you

If I'm gonna order from Warmoth, I'll be putting it together myself. No problem actually, as long as you know how to use a soldering iron, and knows how to set up a guitar.... :D

i think depending on your spec legra could be cheaper... and the wait likely won't be as bad as ran either.

mine was pimped up to the eyeballs, spec-wise, and came to around £1600-odd. I've had quotes from bob for bolt-on style superstrats for just under a grand, though that was over a year ago.

Yep from what I`ve read and seen, Legra's are awesome. Bob is really helpful too if you have any questions. Not to mention how patient he is :oops:

not at the moment, but i just got a pm from someone else asking for a pic, so i should be able to rustle one up in the next day or two if i can manage to steal my sister's digital camera.

That's a point, I wanted to ask- how exactly do you get a quote for a custom from Legra? Do you just email Bob with some pictures and a list of specs and he gets back to you with the quote?

it actually looks classy- which is an achievement in itself for a king V guitar!

But yeah, it's really, really nice.
