My Strat with a HolyDiver and new pickguard
« on: June 30, 2007, 09:56:04 PM »
Photo of my ''new'' Stratocaster. I just replaced the single-coil bridge-pickup with a BKP HolyDiver. I also installed a new pickguard.

I can split the two coils of the humbucker with a button. I now use a Master-Tone, not two seperate tone controls anymore.

The sound is amazing, escpecially when playing fast at high strings or when playing pinch-harmonics.

I thought a Floyd Rose would be good idea for my guitar, but I was advised not to change anything more, it is perfect  now, ecpecially with the fixed tremolo.

Are there any gold covers for humbuckers available? I want one fo my Holy Diver

i think you need to wax pot a cover on- certainly if you want it for high gain purposes, which i assume you do with a HD.
