I'm not sure which is worse, that such a beautiful instrument was destroyed by some stroppy cow (although maybe husband deserved it) or that a bunch of half decade old splinters is going for over £300

i thought it was a bit of an extreme price too...

but then if anyone's going to buy it at all, it's gonna be a 1-in-a-million guy who dropped his '52 goldtop and wants it repaired authentically... and he'd probably be willing to pay $$$... if you see what i mean

Better yet don't let your other half know that the gold guitar in the corner is a 52 and worth as much as a small nation. Cos lying is better than hiding.
